Thursday Jan 17, 2019
Thursday Jan 17, 2019
The 2018-2019 deer and duck season is quickly coming to a close but we still have a little time left. The River is still high, meaning there is water all over the place. It's made duck hunting incredibly difficult and frustrating for the team. We discuss plans for the rest of the year to hopefully scratch out a few good duck shoots. We also talk about the brand new Kennel Up Dog Box from Primos, as well as the current deer action as well.

The River Has No Mercy
Tuesday Jan 08, 2019
Tuesday Jan 08, 2019
The Mississippi River can be a deer hunter's dream, but it can also be his nightmare. Right now at Cottonmouth we're experiencing a high river that is steadily on the rise. We've had to completely change our tactics this week. We're boating in areas that we could ride Polaris Rangers in just a few days prior. We're having to pull stands and blinds out of areas that are going to go completely under water. We're even duck hunting in waist high water where food plots used to be, and we're managing to still get on some good bucks amongst all the craziness. It all comes into hunting a long side this crazy powerful river!

In much of the South East, Whitetail hunters long for the month of December like hunters in the Midwest long for November. Cottonmouth is no exception. It's a magical time of year. This past week we saw signs of the rut on the edge of busting loose, and finished it off by killing two awesome bucks, including the infamous "son of Rocker". Tune in and hear the whole story of these hunts, and some helpful tips on hunting the rut on this week's episode!

Everything Gun Hunting with Jimmy Primos
Monday Dec 03, 2018
Monday Dec 03, 2018
One of the main reasons we started this podcast was to help others become better hunters and answer as many questions sent in as possible. It is without a doubt that the topic of gun hunting whitetails strongly holds the majority of questions we get sent in by a large margin. What caliber to shoot, what ammunition to use, scopes, shootings rests, sighting in, shot placement, are just a few of the common ones we get asked. In this conversation with Jimmy, we cover just about everything you could imagine in the realms of gun hunting. And with Jimmy being one of the most knowledgeable sources we know on the subject of guns, it's an episode you won't want to miss.
