From the hills of Kudzu Bluff to the Mississippi River Bottoms, we were treated to some of most fun rut hunts we've ever had. So much has happened in these past weeks; Brad came to full draw before he even had a chance to climb a tree, Jimmy Grunted in a buck off the ground, and Lake had a hot doe run towards him with 8 bucks chasing her! I had the unique opportunity to spend a duck hunting morning with my good friend, B.C Rogers, of Wren & Ivy. B.C is one of the most duck hunting-crazed people that I have ever been around, so I thought would be the perfect chance to have a conversation about it. After the first full-hunting week at Kudzu Bluff we have hit another problem. After an unexpected, positive Covid-19 test, Jordan is stuck at on quarantine until further notice. Leaving the rest of us up at the bluffs one team member down, and Jordan left to his own devices. Other subjects covered include: the signs of rut kicking off at the new camp, Brad Killing his first deer of the year, Lake having a shooter buck get past him, and poor Jimmy rolling into camp after the activity had slowed down.
